The Library Clevedon

The large breakfast was delicious and, in my opinion, great value for money. The lighting is quite dark in places, and the food menus are printed on plain paper which was quite crinkled and grubby in places. The staff were friendly and the coffee was very nice. I'd definitely return, and it's almost perfect!

Enjoyed our afternoon tea and cake. Went when it was fairly quiet so didn't have to wait long. The gluten-free granola bar is very nice. My white Americano was strong and hot maybe just a bit on the watery side. My sister had the Chai and said it was the best flavour she'd ever had. However it did come very luke-warm but as soon as she mentioned it they made her a fresh hotter one. I really like the interior. Some have mentioned it's a bit dark in places but it didn't bother us in the slightest, made it feel quite cosy. Some parts feel like you have your own private booth, diner style. Very clean when we went in too. Only my first time here, but would come back to sample a few other things.

Just had the Wednesday Burger Deal, any burger with chips and slaw and a pint. Great value and lovely food. Friendly staff. What’s not to like! Would certainly recommend

Highly recommend. Nearly everything spot on. Bar service was quick (Sophie was lovely), very good pricing, lovely decor inside, big portions and delicious meal. Great for families with meals to suit everyone. Food did take a longer than I'd hope to come and the tap selection wasn't the best (some local ales would be nice). Possibly some outside seating as well? Previous occupants had some and worked really well. Other than that great and a real competitor to teatros.

Had a Relaxing breakfast with friends here at The Library Clevedon. If you want a large English breakfast this is your place food was amazing. Friendly staff. We will definitely coming back soon.

Amazing food, came with my partner and wow - it did not disappoint! A burger and a drinks for £17.50, yes please. Less than £40 for 2 big burgers with fries and coleslaw with a drink! In addition it’s buy one get one half price on any 2 cocktails! Amazing drinks and food, the ginger-haired bartender knew everything there was to know about the menu and the drinks! Will be back soon, that’s for sure.

Great first impressions, the interior has had a revamp and felt somehow more open and lighter, something its predecessor struggled with. That said it was gloriously sunny earlier! Loved the bookshelves (complete with kids books that can be used to entertain your littles) and the abundance of plants too. On the menu you’ll find breakfasts until 11.30am, pizzas, jacket potatoes, sandwiches/paninis plus a few mains until 4pm. There’s a separate dinner menu but I was there for lunch, and had the mozzarella, basil and tomato panini which cost me £8.50 and comes with a salad garnish. I thought for the money it was good value, the panini was large, generous with the pesto and mozzarella plus the salad garnish better than you get most places. I also had a pineapple juice, which was on the pricey side at £4.25 but that’s probably average for a juice most places these days. There was a selection of what appeared to be freshly baked goods on a counter, and whilst no kids menu yet (they haven’t been printed) it’s great to know there’ll be smaller versions of most dishes on the menu plus some of the usual suspects (fish fingers etc!). Failing that as most things are made fresh the team said they were happy to adapt dishes for little ones who may be fussy, which I thought was helpful!
